The Code for sustainable Homes has superseded the Ecohomes scheme as a benchmark for environmental sustainability in domestic property design and construction. The Code for Sustainable Homes assesses each unit in a development against a number of issues centred on nine main areas which include energy, management and ecology.
At FES we provide assessments at all stages of the Code for Sustainable Homes, these are pre-assessment, design stage and on-completion. Our assessors have experience of working to achieve all code levels and will be happy to share their knowledge with you in a field which is still new to most people.
