Commercial EPCs - The Process
Commercial EPCs – The Process
In order to produce a Commercial Energy Performance Certificate (CEPC) it is first necessary for a qualified assessor to visit the premises. At FES we employ our own surveyors who hold all of the necessary qualifications to enable them to produce commercial EPCs. Copies of these qualifications are available on request.
The data gathered during the survey is then used to run the commercial EPC calculations using the government approved software. The total heat loss is worked out for all of the thermal elements of the premises and this is then combined with the efficiency of heating, lighting and air conditioning systems to work out the overall rating on the commercial EPC certificate.
Once the CEPC is complete it is sent via email as a .pdf document and can also be sent hard copy if needed.
