Large dwellings over 450m2
The limitation on SAP usage for Part L compliance for dwellings with total floor area of 450 m or more has been removed and SAP, rather than SBEM, should be used for Part L compliance for such dwellings.

DEFRA are offering grants throughout England of up to 40% of the cost of installing Biomass heating systems or CHP systems (up to a maximum of £100,000). Further details here:

The government has delayed the introduction of commercial EPC’s for buildings over 10,000m2, which were to have been compulsory for all buildings rented out or sold after April 6th.
